Jim Sano, the author of 3 fictional books about how mentorship and support lead to discipleship, joins Sean for a dram to talk about his long time devotedness to trying to do what was right from his childhood. At a young age, after witnessing elderly men in his hometown sitting around talking about regrets, Jim set out determined not to be one of them.
In his books, he uses the example of Jesus who told stories that were relatable and engaging to teach truth. In his words, “To build intentional disciples, meet people where they are.” He speaks about building a trusting relationship to lay the foundation for discipleship.
