Heroic Virtue Summit: Virtues of St. Joseph
Conference Talks • 2h 11m
Live on: March 27, 2021 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm central time.
This year marks the 150th anniversary of the declaration of St. Joseph as the universal patron of the Catholic Church. In his apostolic letter Patris Corde (“With a Father’s Heart”), Pope Francis urges the faithful to imitate the virtues of the Foster Father of Jesus, describing St. Joseph as a resourceful and loving father who protected the Holy Family and thus became “a minister of salvation” for all. We can draw much spiritual and practical wisdom by meditating on the life and virtues of St. Joseph, especially as he is depicted in scripture. Besides Mary, no other saint has as many titles that refer to his spiritual gifts and holy identity. (The Litany of St. Joseph lists 24 different forms of address.)
